Taken from EJECT: Archives + Demos 2004-2014 album.
Recorded 2014. Written during a writing session for One Direction. Thie session was a blow-out, but just before I left. I wrote this one.
I remember it took 5 mins to right. I have absolutely no idea how or when we recorded it. Must have been at the time. I really like this one, very romantic lyrics, and imagery.

LYRICS /
Get up, get up, get up
In the old days through every twist and turn
I mirrored every move you made to me
Oh how we hardly missed a beat
In our own ways, when we had two left feet
We never missed an opportunity to go out dancing in the street
So get up, get up, get up
You wanna get up, get up, get up
When you're on your own, you don't need a song
When you feel like dancing, I feel like dancing
Get up, get up, get up
You wanna shake up, shake up, shake up
When you're on your own, you don't need a song
When you feel like dancing, you don't dance alone
In the old days when we both felt the same
We never let the weather bring us down
You let your eyeshadow run in the rain
Now it's okay to dust off your dancing shoes
You only need a simple melody, and I'll be right there, back with you
So get up, get up, get up
You wanna get up, get up, get up
When you're on your own, you don't need a song
When you feel like dancing, I feel like dancing
Get up, get up, get up
You wanna shake up, shake up, shake up
When you're on your own, you don't need a song
When you feel like dancing, you don't dance alone
Spin around, just spin around
Let your arms stretch right out to me
Just let it out, just it let it out
I won't let you go now
So get up, get up, get up
You wanna get up, get up, get up
Though you're on your own, you don't need a song
When you feel like dancing
So get up, get up, get up
You wanna get up, get up, get up
Though you're on your own, you don't need a song
When you feel like dancing, I feel like dancing
Get up, get up, get up
You wanna shake up, shake up, shake up
When you're on your own, you don't need a song
When you feel like dancing, you don't dance alone
So get up, get up, get up
You wanna get up, get up, get up
When you're on your own, you don't need a song
When you feel like dancing, I feel like dancing
So get up, get up, get up
You wanna shake up, shake up, shake up
When you're on your own, you don't need a song
When you feel like dancing, you don't dance alone
